Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about gig I played in Kimball's East nightclub not long after I returned from living in Europe, actually my first gig was for Pete Escovedo, and then I brought Bernard Purdie out for this gig you hear now and also a night at the Cocodrie in SF North Beach - on the band, Bennett Friedman tenor saxophone, Barry Finnerty guitar, Bernard Purdie drums and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond B3 organ - it's Friday before Election Day Folks and the day before Halloween! Stay safe out there, keep masking up in public! Hopefully we'll have some good news Tues. night for the big Presto-Change-O don't ya' know!
