Hammond Report August 19 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from organist and accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about a very special gig in the first club The Beatles played at 60 years ago - first time was the day before yesterday of 1960, August 17th - and I played in some of the other original clubs where The Beatles played, The Top Ten Club on Reeperbahn,St. Pauli, and my friend Pico aka Salvatore Mertens from STAR-CLUB Hamburg - on the band here with me, Heinz Lichius drums, Lutz Büchner tenor saxophone, Joe Berger guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond XB-2 organ.
